Comments by the Woman to Woman Committee –

The women who have been involved in the conception of this field generated National Woman to Woman Initiative all have chosen Shaklee as their careers.  Some have left careers in medicine or education, others in the study of child psychology to create a Shaklee business. Each one has reached the pinnacle in their Shaklee career and is a Master Coordinator. 

Each of the members of this committee has earned well over a million dollars throughout their careers with Shaklee. One earns over a million dollars each year. 

Many have been received Shaklee highest honors, from Lifetime Master to the Dr. Shaklee Award.  Many have been selected to be featured in the numerous Shaklee publications.  Each has served on the MEC, the Masters Executive Committee.  Many having served in every role and several have served as Chairman of the MEC. 

These prestigious women, who are highly regarded by their peers, are enthused about this Woman to Woman Initiative and look forward to May 3.  The success of this field initiative will be determined by the number of meetings you all plan, whether they are in homes, restaurants, country clubs or auditoriums.  This is about you and your success.

Shaklee or having a business was never in my wildest dreams, but it has given me so many of the things I was looking for in life.  Within 6 months I was able to leave my nursing position where I was earning $780 a month because I was able to replace it with my Shaklee income of close to $3,000 a month.   This allowed me be stay-at-home mom for my 3 young sons.  Earning a six figure income, for over 30 years has provided us with a lifestyle we never anticipated.  The secret of the business is that, “if you help enough people get what they want, you will get everything that you want.”  This opportunity is there for every one.

With a professional background in Child Development, I have always understood the importance a healthy home-based environment in which children could flourish.  My Shaklee career allowed me the privilege of raising our two children as well as creating the financial means that provided for all their needs, from infancy to college.  Being my own boss, the governor of my own time, and the comptroller of my income inspires me even today. The idea of being an eco-mom, one who appreciates the concept of building as career based on sharing vital information about health and environmental products and its people-based opportunity is an idea to embrace. I see the May 3 Woman to Woman Initiative as catalyst to a great future for many women.

As I reflect on my Shaklee career it is the Shaklee lifestyle that is the most notable aspect of my affiliation with Shaklee. As a mother of four and a professional educator I have appreciated that most precious commodity – time. Shaklee provides women with a flexible schedule that allows time for family, for personal development and for a financial opportunity. Now the next generation of women has the prospect, through the Woman-to-Woman Initiative, to discover what thousands of Shaklee women have known for over 50 years.  It is exciting to be part of this fresh and exciting program.

Why I fell in love with Shaklee as a Career?  There is no glass ceiling. I am passionate about the ability to empower women to be financially independent while helping others live a healthier life both for their families and the planet.  Working with a team who wanted the same ability to stay at home with their children and to create a legacy of health and wealth, to have the freedom and lifestyle of their dreams!

Enjoying the lifestyle benefits of a home-based Shaklee business has been wonderful.  I started the business while teaching and with 3 young children.  A home-based business allows a mother to raise her children while earning an income and being involved with her family.  As a retirement aged woman, it has allowed me to pursue my dream of helping children improve their self-esteem by writing and publishing a series of children’s book.
